About

After the unfortunate corruption and loss of files from my Dreams and Fairy Dust Legacy, I have decided to rise back from the ashes and give this legacy thing one more try. But I’m setting some ground rules for myself so that I don’t get too overwhelmed in this challenge.

My first ground rule for this legacy is that there will be no more than three children per generation. This will prevent me from being in a position where I have to go through with raising five or six kids and having the generations drag on forever and a day.

My second ground rule is that, generally, heirship will go to the firstborn child. This helps simplify and streamline things a bit so that I’m not waiting on results for heir polls while playing and writing. Keeping this in mind, though, if there’s a particularly popular second sibling, I’ll try to keep updates posted on what that sibling is up to in the main narrative. Also, it just makes sense for this particular family. Why will be illuminated later on.

Thirdly, so long as there are Frugal sims in the house, there will be no buying better beds/appliances/etc. Because really, it’s not in a Frugal sim’s nature to buy new things at the drop of a hat.

And lastly, there can be any other myriad of supernatural types present in the family, but no witches.  Again, more reasoning for this will be applied as the plot continues onward.

With these rules in mind, I hope you enjoy this legacy and its narrative!

(PS: I’ll be using a writing style much more like the one used in my Sims 2 Legacy, Sinful Magic, where stat matrices are implied through prose, not given directly. I will post stat matrices when I post sims for download, though. And I will be posting sims for download, if you wish to have one of them in your game.)
